Angel’s Paws offers amazing end of life care to very grateful pets and their parents. We have openings for veterinary assistants to assist in all aspects of end-of-life care, from connecting with families during that very first phone call, through the return of their beloved pets ashes in our chapel or to their home and everything in between. Angel’s Paws provides a special level of care in this process that assures the pet parent that their pet is being treated with dignity, love, and respect the entire time they are in our care. They stay snuggled in a warm blanket and pillow until time for their cremation. We do not have any freezers on our property.

Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time assistant to provide a full spectrum of administrative and clerical support for Angel’s Paws and associated non-profit, Angel’s Watch.
We are looking for…
· Someone who has compassionate interpersonal and customer service skills, prioritizing clients and their experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
· Capability to organize work efficiently, set priorities and establish plans or timetables for achieving goals
· Ability to operate, maintain and facilitate improvements to proprietary database
· A high level of confidentiality that is required for work associated with counseling services
· Ability to exercise diplomacy in all facets of the job
· Fluency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
· Experience with Photoshop, Canva, and Google tools are advantageous
· Technology, computer software, troubleshooting and IT knowledge is advantageous
· Experience with aspects of human resources is preferred, but not required
· Skill for writing articles, technical and narrative, is a plus

· Greet and direct visitors within the facility with compassion for their experience
· Be a comforting voice, provide telephone coverage, route calls appropriately, serve as a phone contact and resource for resolving requests for information, and place after-service follow-up calls.
· Support various Human Resources functions within the organization including assisting with recruiting by posting job openings and screening of potential candidates.
· Coordinate the formal and informal communication associated with the office
· Prepare routine reports and assist with basic accounting and financial management
· Facilitate volunteer coordination within building and at external events
· Assist with non-profit donor tracking and acknowledgements, fundraising events, and communications

We are often asked to transport pets to our facility for cremation and need extra assistance. Must be able to lift heavy dogs to help load them from their home to car and/or from car into our facility in Blue Ash. Pay is per case.
